Browsing and technical data
The website uses Google Firebase for hosting and application services. To deliver pages and protect them against abuse, the infrastructure may process technical data such as IP address, request date and time, requested page and browser information. This processing supports the operation and security of the website, based on the legitimate interest in providing and protecting the service.
Page view counts
Our counter sends only the page path, without query parameters, cookies, visitor identifiers or device details. It stores aggregate counts by page and day to track traffic trends: it does not identify people or measure unique visitors. Counts are approximate and may be retained to compare traffic over time. Connecting to the service still involves the infrastructure processing technical network data.
Product images
Product and area images may be loaded from external services, including eBay and Google storage. Loading an image involves connecting to its provider, which may receive technical data such as IP address and request information. Those services apply their own policies. Website fonts are served from our hosting, without requests to Google Fonts.
Email enquiries
If you email us, we process your email address and the information you choose to share to respond to your enquiry and manage any resulting relationship. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a possible contract, or the legitimate interest in responding to other correspondence. We retain correspondence for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any applicable legal obligations or protection of legal rights.
Advertising and preferences
The website is prepared for Google AdSense. When advertising is enabled, Google and the partners listed in the consent message may use cookies and other technologies and process data such as IP address, device information and ad interactions to deliver and measure advertising and, if authorised, personalise it. Purposes, partners, legal bases and available choices are listed in the consent message. Where required, uses subject to consent depend on your choices; refusing or withdrawing consent does not prevent you from reading the website.
External links and eBay affiliation
Product pages contain eBay affiliate links. Clicking a link takes you away from this website to eBay: the link includes an affiliate identifier used to attribute any commission. We do not receive your payment details from eBay. Processing on the destination website is governed by its own policies. The same applies to other external links, including app store links.
Providers, retention and transfers
Technical providers may access data needed to deliver their services; Google and advertising partners may also process data according to the roles and purposes described in their policies and the consent message. Technical data, cookies and identifiers managed by providers follow the retention periods set by those services and their settings.
